Snowbird Vacation Properties

From Feb. 16-24, 2010 our family enjoyed a wonderful vacation at the property in Palm Desert. We felt very fortunate to be the first family to have the opportunity to stay at this immaculate property! Only a short drive from the airport, this home is located in a nice quiet community, with a great view of the mountains. Its amazing curb appeal only gets better as you enter the home. To say that this property is spacious is an understatement! With its vaulted ceilings, four bedrooms, three full bathrooms, a very large kitchen, eating area and two sitting areas we were spoiled by all the space but very quickly felt right at home. Perhaps our favorite space on this property was the amazing backyard with its magnificent pool and spa! Enjoying breakfast and lunch on the patio, pool time in the afternoon and relaxing in the spa under a star-filled sky was a wonderful way to spend our holiday! This home is close to many amenities including numerous restaurants and golf courses, as well as easy access to Costco and the Walmart Supercenter if you wish to enjoy a home cooked meal out on the patio. Shopping was superb and our suitcases were bursting at the seams. This was a special trip to celebrate my mom's 80th birthday and we loved every minute of our stay here. Although we were sad to leave, we can't wait to stay at this house in the future!

From January 12-20 / 2010 we were in Sun City, Palm Desert in one of the Snowbird Vacation Properties. Our stay was in a spacious bungalow, more luxury than necessity. It was a lovely place, lots to see and much to do. We enjoyed ourselves greatly. Our motto was: Live well – Love much – Laugh often.
Time went by very quickly. In close distance were club houses, swimming pools, work out places and luscious golf courses. It is also a safe place for leisure walks. We found everything so clean and quiet with no bugs or mosquitoes to bother us. All we had to do was breathe and enjoy.
Close by are lots of possibilities to shop. The street fairs are also interesting to visit. There are lots of restaurants as well as buffets to choose from.
We would very much recommend this place for any one who is searching for a leisure vacation.

“(March 11-25, 2008) We had the opportunity to spend 2 weeks in the gated community of Sun City Palm Desert. The weather was gorgeous, around 80 degrees F for the whole time. We stayed in the Palm Desert home, a spacious bungalow (approx. 1150 sq.ft.), tastefully furnished and almost new. There are 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (1 has a full ensuite). The kitchen is fully equipped with complete set of dishes, cutlery, utensils, etc. including microwave. The great room has a large flat screen television, computer and printer. There is also a TV in the master bedroom. Long-distance calls within the US and Canada are free. The property is attractively landscaped and it is relaxing to spend time on the patio in the evening. There are no bugs to disturb your peace. The aroma of a variety of flowers and trees will tantalize your senses. The community has 2 beautiful golf courses, 3 clubhouses with restaurant (reasonable prices), full fitness facilities, several pools and hot tubs, lawn bowling and tennis courts. Our favorite spot was to spend time at the very well-maintained and clean pools. Since this is gated community, it is quiet, peaceful and safe. There is very little traffic. There are a variety of shopping facilities nearby and many more in neighboring cities which have their weekly fairs and entertainment. It is advisable to rent a car. This is a beautiful location, especially for the avid golfer. The weekly rent is very reasonable and if you want to spend the time with another couple, you half your cost."

Just a 3 hour flight and we had gladly left the freezing temperature behind us. Palm Springs greeted us with warm, wonderful weather. We relaxed instantly having left all the busyness at home. Your lovely house was a welcome home away from home! It had everything we needed and a place for everything we shopped for at the grocery store. For two weeks we had the rare opportunity of doing just as we pleased; going for walks, shopping, window shopping on fancy streets, enjoying eating at different restaurants, sitting by the pool, watching golfers teeing off (we don't golf), and browsing the weekly farmer's and artists open-air market. We attended church services, went for drives to several sightseeing spots, (thanks for letting us rent your van!) and obviously had a fabulous time. The community is secure and friendly. It's all so beautifully cared for and a feast for the eyes. Just lounging in the sun in the backyard was a treat. Thanks again for giving us the opportunity to share the accommodations in a place that we had not visited before. We'd love to come again!
